I've been told by my venue that my Disco must have full Public Liability Insurance and that all their equipment must be fully PAT tested?

These legal requirements are standard, and have been for many years. Be careful when choosing your disco company as some may not carry valid insurance or use PAT tested equipment due to the costs involved. All of our equipment is Portable Appliance Tested annually to the current HSE Electricity at Work regulations, and every item is labelled to indicate a PAT test pass. Additionally we have £5 million worth of full public liability insurance.
